French Things To Do In March

Sip, taste, discover and celebrate, March in Singapore is filled with French flavours, culture and savoir-faire. From champagne tastings to Riviera-inspired beach parties and art workshops with bubbles, here’s your curated guide to the most très français experiences to enjoy this month.

French bakery Paul Singapore is adding a local twist to its classic pastry repertoire with a March seasonal special: the Pandan Coconut Cream Cake.

Fragrant pandan sponge meets creamy coconut layers in a dessert that perfectly balances French pâtisserie technique with the comforting sweetness of Southeast Asian flavours. Light, aromatic and just indulgent enough, it’s the kind of treat that feels made for a slow afternoon coffee.

Available for March only, this limited creation is the perfect excuse to revisit one of Singapore’s favourite French bakeries.

Some evenings are meant for bubbles, but also for brilliance.

On Saturday 7 March, our partner Alliance Française de Singapour invites guests to discover The Veuve Effect, a champagne tasting celebrating the remarkable women who transformed the champagne industry.

Widows such as Veuve Clicquot, Veuve Pommery and Veuve Henriot defied societal norms and built some of the most legendary champagne houses in history. This workshop explores their inspiring stories while guiding guests through the secrets of the méthode champenoise, grape varieties and ageing techniques.

Of course, the evening includes three glasses of champagne, making it both an educational and delicious tribute to boldness.

If there is one very French ritual we love, it is this: rosé under the sun.

On 7 March, our partner Angra Wine & Spirit brings the spirit of the Côte d’Azur to Sentosa with the return of the Tanjong Rosé Club – The White Party Edition.

The day begins with a Mediterranean-inspired bottomless brunch featuring seafood, mezze and grilled specialties paired with free-flow AIX Rosé. From 3 PM onwards, the beach transforms into a glamorous all-white party, where guests dance into golden hour with DJ beats and cocktails in hand.

Relaxed, festive and undeniably chic, it’s a slice of French Riviera lifestyle, right here in Singapore.

A touch of Parisian poetry has arrived at Raffles Arcade Singapore.

The exhibition “Ballerinas by Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the Maison’s iconic jeweled ballerina creations, inspired by the grace and movement of classical dance. Since the 1940s, the French jeweler has translated the elegance of ballet into delicate gold and gemstone figures that seem almost suspended in motion.

Through refined scenography and intimate displays, visitors discover how jewelry, storytelling and performing arts come together in the Maison’s creative universe.

Running until 10 March, the exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the poetic craftsmanship that defines French high jewelry.

Some evenings are meant to be savoured slowly — one sip, one brushstroke at a time.

On 12 March, Alliance Française de Singapour presents a new edition of its monthly artistic rendez-vous Art & Bubbles, in collaboration with French artist and So Chic member D’Gers.

The workshop begins with a guided wine tasting, encouraging guests to explore the aromas, flavours and emotions each wine evokes. Participants then translate those impressions into watercolor artworks, turning sensory experiences into colour and form.

Blending creativity, conviviality and a glass of champagne, this unique workshop captures the essence of French culture: art, pleasure and imagination shared together.
