So chic recipe: French Winter Sablés with Jam

Ingredients:

Flour ………………………………………………………………………………………….. 250 g
Soft butter …………………………………………………………………………….. 125 g
Sugar ………………………………………………………………………………………… 100 g
Egg ……………………………………………………………………………………………….. 1
Vanilla sugar / Vanilla extract …………………………………………… 1 packet / 1 tsp
Salt …………………………………………………………………………………………….. 1 pinch
Bonne Maman Jam (strawberry, raspberry, apricot…) …………………………. As needed
Powdered sugar (optional) …………………………………………….. For dusting

Instructions:

1– Mix the soft butter with sugar and vanilla
2– Add the egg and combine well
3– Add the flour and salt, then form a dough
4– Wrap the dough and chill for 30 minutes
5– Roll out the dough to 5 mm thickness
6– Cut circles; make a small hole in half of them
7– Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes until lightly golden
8– Let the cookies cool completely
9– Add a little jam on the solid cookies
10– Place the cookies with holes on top
11– Dust with powdered sugar if desired
