While this restaurant is famed for the French Omakase, Bar-A-Thym also whips up amazing desserts — think Pavlova, Opera Chocolate Gateau and, our personal favourite, the Praliné Paris Brest. Available on the à la carte menu, the Praliné Paris Brest features choux pastry with vanilla and praliné crème, topped with toasted hazelnuts.

PAUL is a bakery that needs no introduction. Being in the industry for generations, this bakery holds true to their time-honoured traditions and uses only the best ingredients and methods for baking. Their Dark Chocolate Tart is a crowd-favourite, featuring 70% guanaja chocolate from Valrhona and a flaky, melt-in-your-mouth tart shell.

Merci Marcel has been making heads turn on Instagram for their #InstaWorthy cafe ambience. While most head there for brunch or dinner, we highly recommend also staying for desserts. This Apple Pie is no traditional, deep dish pie. Instead, it has a flakey tart crust embedded with caramelised apples, house-made salted caramel and homemade whipped cream. Sweet and slightly salty, this is definitely a good end to any meal.
