Founded in 1984, MAKE UP FOR EVER is a French professional cosmetics brand renowned for its high-performance, artist-developed makeup products. The brand was founded by Dany Sanz in Paris, who discovered a need for products that could withstand bright stage lights, movement, and long performances after working in theatre and performing arts. Unable to find products that met her exacting standards, she began developing her own formulas, focusing on rich pigments, durability, and versatility.

Among its signature products are the Artist Color Pencil, a multi-use pencil that can be applied on the lips, eyes, cheeks, and brows, and the HD Skin Foundation, developed for medium to full and yet natural coverage in front of high-definition cameras
