Make your own Strawberry Tart with Bonne Maman Jam

Ingredients:

    • 200g flour

    • 90g powdered sugar

    • 110g cold butter, cubed

    • 1 egg

    • A pinch of salt

    • About 250g ready-made pastry cream

    • 3 tbsp Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam

    • 250g fresh strawberries

Instructions:

  1. Make the tart crust
    Mix the flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Rub in the cold butter until sandy. Add the egg and mix into a smooth dough. Wrap and chill for 1 hour.

  2. Bake the crust
    Roll out and place in a 22 cm tart tin. Prick the base and chill again for 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) and bake for 20 minutes. Let cool completely.

  3. Assemble the tart
    Spread a generous layer of ready-made pastry cream over the cooled crust. Add a swirl of Bonne Maman Strawberry Jam for a floral and fruity contrast.

  4. Decorate with strawberries
    Slice and arrange the strawberries neatly over the top. Gently warm a spoonful of jam with a little water and brush over the fruit for a glossy finish.

  5. Chill & serve
    Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. Light, fresh and beautifully French — without the fuss.
