Nestled at the foot of Guoco Tower with a welcoming outdoor terrace, M&T — short for Monts & Terroirs — is more than just a restaurant. It’s Singapore’s first-ever bistro and boutique exclusively devoted to French mountain cheeses, bringing a rich slice of Alpine heritage to the heart of the CBD.
Opened earlier this year, M&T is a renowned new concept already featured in publications like TimeOut Singapore and Hungry Go Where. Behind the project is Sodiaal, France’s largest dairy cooperative, representing over 8,500 farms and 15,000 farmers — a true ambassador of French terroir.
Bistro Meets Fromagerie
M&T is not just a place to eat — it’s a place to savour. Their cheese-forward bistro menu has been designed to highlight the incredible richness of high-altitude dairy.
During our visit, we indulged in their signature duck parmentier — creamy, comforting, with just the right hint of nuttiness from a layer of aged Comté. The croque monsieur was golden and gooey in all the right ways, while the cheeseburger was unapologetically decadent, with generous slices of melted cheese binding everything together.
Whether you’re seated inside or at the charming outdoor terrace, M&T offers a laid-back, elegant atmosphere where Alpine authenticity meets urban ease.
Thoughtful Design with Alpine Soul
The space is full of stories — from the copper-ring ceiling lights echoing traditional cheese-making vats to the warm wood tones reminiscent of a chalet. There’s even a cosy outdoor terrace, perfect for sunny lunches or laid-back after-work bites.

Meanwhile, the boutique side of M&T lets you bring the experience home. Stock up on premium French cheeses and gourmet light bites — perfect for an aperitif or dinner party.
M&T specialises in three signature cheeses:
• Comté – including rare aged varieties made with summer milk from cows in the Jura Mountains
• Ossau-Iraty – a semi-firm sheep’s milk cheese from the Béarn and Basque regions
• Fourme d’Ambert – a cylindrical blue cheese from France’s volcanic Auvergne, with elegant earthy, mushroomy notes
