Tomates Farcies Provencales Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 Big tomatoes
  • 500g Minced sausage
  • 3 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Parsley
  • Butter
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Thyme

Instructions:

  • STEP 1
    Peel and chop the onions. Peel and chop garlic cloves.
  • STEP 2
    Put half of the onions in the sausage meat. Add garlic, salt, pepper and a little parsley.
  • STEP 3
    Cut off the top of the tomatoes and hollow them out. Add pepper and salt to the inside. Put the stuffing inside and put the caps back on.
  • STEP 4
    Put the remaining onions in a dish with the tomato meat.
  • STEP 5
    Put the stuffed tomatoes in the dish. Sprinkle with a little thyme and put a knob of butter on each tomato. Bake in a hot oven at 180°C (thermostat 6) for about 1 hour.

    Serve with rice
