This time So Chic Experience #5 happened under the lights of alcohol and liquor, right at the source: Pernod Ricard’s office! Not any boring grayish office though, Pernod has the nose to make everything pops, friendly and welcoming. So, as the evening emerged, our 30 apprentice-bartenders arrived in a cosy-chic bar surrounded by colorfully glowing bottles and countless canapes scattered here and there. Just the time for a baby-foot or a pétanque, maybe a chat at the bar complimented with a sip of cocktail or just some relaxation time on the sofas, and it was time for our host Marie to announce the beginning of a So Chic Experience that would be full of findings, surprises and laughter…
Three teams of aspiring bartenders for three different workshops that would rotate among them, that’s how the evening took place. While some guests were behind the bar creating their own cocktail under the eyes of two bartenders – mixologists in the making? – others where in Chiva’s room for a fun and energetic course tasting on the nuances of whisky. On the other side, a room was dedicated to Champagne, a real journey through the story, the making and of course the taste of some Perrier-Jouet bottles. Eventually, everyone, a bit tipsy but definitely happy went back with a So Chic bag hiding some alcoholic gifts. Cheers!
