Air France has always been a true ambassador of fine cuisine. For an even better in-flight gourmet experience, the airline has introduced a whole new level of French fine dining in the sky. Inviting Michelin-starred Michel Roth to design dishes for the Air France Business Class menu.
Air France has brought French fine dining on a plane, definitely creating a different representation of airplane food and certainly a memorable experience for flyers to indulge themselves. The dishes are all prepared using the best ingredients and paired carefully by Roth himself.
Michel Roth is one of the most celebrated chefs in France, with the most prestigious titles in French gastronomy to his name: he has several Michelin stars and in 2016 received the coveted title of Romand of the year with a score of 18/20 in the Gault and Millau restaurant guide.
Throughout his career, Michel Roth has worked alongside the greatest French chefs and in prestigious restaurants, such as the L’Espadon at the Ritz on Place Vendôme and the grand Hotel President Wilson in Geneva.
Michel Roth is a passionate chef and a perfectionist, whose sole aim is to please those who enjoy his dishes, whether it’s on the shores of Lake Geneva or in the air.
Business-class passengers will be able to enjoy one of the six dishes curated by Roth. This will be ongoing from July till September 2018. Dishes will be renewed every 2 weeks.
