SUMMARY:Love in Motion, a solo exhibition by Patrick Rubinstein
DESCRIPTION:Love is in the air as Parisian artist Patrick Rubinstein brings his proclamation of love in his first solo exhibition at Ode To Art, just in time for Valentine’s Day!\nPrevious\nNext\nPatrick Rubinstein is all about love, as seen through his oeuvre of works dedicated to the most powerful human emotion of all. This February, he will host his first solo exhibition ‘Love in Motion’ at Ode To Art, located in Raffles City Shopping Centre. The exhibition celebrates Rubinstein’s main theme – love – with his futuristic and avant – garde works that celebrate movement and motion at the crossroads of Optical, Pop, and Street Art. Uniting the principles of optical art and kinetic art, Rubinstein’s sophisticated works are known to trick the eye, and push the boundaries of his viewers’ perceptions.\nLOVE IN MOTION \nInspired by the 60s, its indie rock scene and pop artists, Patrick Rubinstein is more than just a pop artist. Merging his love for pop culture from the 1950s to today, with intriguing illusion techniques pioneered by optical artists, he gives his art a dynamism that invites viewers to walk around and step closer to pierce each artwork’s secrets.\nOf the 40 artworks, some are not to be missed! Like 9241 Bagarre des papillons, spelling out love with butterflies, or 7737 Cute Teddy, that paints the portrait of the gentle panda but injected with the trio of primary pop colours – red, blue and yellow – for a dash of psychedelia.\n\nDon’t miss out ! \n
